Wildlife Safaris
When people think "Safari", this is what they had in mind
-- big cats, elephants, zebras and million-strong herds of
wildebeest.
There is no better place in the world for wildlife
safaris -- let Black Mamba take you there. Tanzania is
arguably the best place to go to see the big game. We
have more national parkland set aside for wildlife than any
other place in Africa. From the endless plains of the
Serengeti in the north to the great Selous in the south,
Tanzania has what you're looking for in a wildlife
safari.
Black Mamba has guided safaris throughout Tanzania since
our founding in 1994. We strive to give every client
the very best journey possible. Our itineraries are
fully customizable. We will work with you and your
timeframe to create a once in a lifetime experience.
Destinations
Depending on your budget and your preferences, you can
either camp, stay in a luxury tented camp or at a lodge:
Camping
Camping on the Serengeti, or along the rim of Ngorongoro is
quite different than camping back home...Where else can you
fall asleep with the sound of the zebras and wildebeest
drifting through camp? Campsites are fairly basic
affairs, but that doesn't mean that your experience will
be. Do the animals only show themselves to those who
stayed at the five-star resort? No! Your game
drives will be every bit as exciting as those in the
lodge. While you are out on a game drive, our
cooks will prepare your meals and a campfire. All
campsites have showers and bathrooms available.
Luxury Tents
Luxury tented campsites are very much like full-service
hotels, except that you sleep in large tents and dinner is
typically held outdoors under the African sky. Each
tent is large enough to stand up, walk around and has a
comfortable bed. It gives you the comforts of a hotel,
but adds a bit of the excitement of camping on the
Serengeti. Some luxury tented camps have lighted
watering holes to view the wildlife at night.
Lodges
The lodges of Tanzania's National Parks are very
comfortable, luxurious oases in the wilds of Africa.
Between game drives, you can relax by the pool, play a game
of tennis, or get a massage. Most lodges will also
have a lighted watering hole where you can view the wildlife
as it congregates at night.
