Masai Mara
The landscape of Tarangire is dotted with large baobab trees. It
makes a beautiful backdrop to the large herds of elephants that make their home
here.
Tarangire is usually seen in conjunction with other safari
destinations, such as Serengeti and Lake Manyara. It is can be visited in
1 day, but 2 or 3 days is optimal.
Amboseli National Park
This small national park on the road from Arusha to Ngorongoro is
famous for the tree climbing lions.
1 or 2 days are sufficient to see Lake Manyara.
